MONDOLKIRI

in eastern Cambodia is a popular destination for trekking and riding elephants.  It's hilly terrain and higher elevation and cooler temperatures has made it a popular get away from Phnom Penh. There are a few waterfalls and P'nong hill tribe villages surrounding Sen Monorom the provincial capitol. Over the past few years it has seen major development. The road to Sen Monorom is completely paved and guesthouses have sprung up around town.
